Valley Baptist Christian School

Valley Baptist Christian School was founded in 1975 as a ministry of Valley Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Charles Martin, Jr. The school and church came under the leadership of Pastor James Bailey in 1978. The original location of the school was at the former church property south of Edinburg at Bowman’s Crossing. Throughout the past twenty-seven years, VBCS has grown from an ACE school with 19 students to a traditional school with an enrollment of about 100. It has moved along with Valley Baptist Church to its present location just west of Edinburg on Stoney Creek Road. VBCS is a member of the American Association of Christian Schools and the Old Dominion Association of Church Schools.
