Daycare - Opening Fall 2008
It is our goal at Valley Baptist Daycare to give each child enrolled in the center the best loving care that they all deserve. We will provide a safe, healthy learning environment which enhances the social, emotional, physical, spiritual and cognitive development of each child. It is our belief that these areas are an essential ingredient in a child’s life.
Program
The Valley Baptist Daycare program will be accomplished through a balance of creative play, songs, stories, structured activities, crafts and outside activities. We offer fulltime care for ages six weeks through Pre K. We have three-day and five-day programs available. Our childcare hours are 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Curriculum
For the two-year olds and up we use the A Beka Curriculum which ensures that the children will be taught age appropriate material for each level and that there will be sufficient review of previous material each year to scaffold the learning process.
daycare infant suite
Children can grow and develop steadily from year to year. This curriculum meets and exceeds the standards set forth in “Virginia’s Foundation Blocks for Early Learning.” We use the High Reach Curriculum in our toddler’s class and infants class. It is a theme-based curriculum that focuses on a different theme each week and a new shape and color each month.
